My personal feeling about custom picture framing is that it adds to your home or office decor. After spending the last 13+ years working with art and framing I have seen alot of homes and offices without artwork on the walls and no matter how good the design, the room still looks empty. Not untill there is something on the walls does the interior start to come together. Of course you could pickup a framed picture from almost any store and it will do the job for a little while. The reason for custom picture framing is to take something that you love and to display it for years to come and to enjoy it everyday. Making your room yours is the idea. Ever walk into your friends home and say I have that or I have seen that at the large store with the same overseas garbage that will end up being tossed because it lasted about a minute. Take back your dollar and get the most for it. In our shop we only use mouldings made in the US or Italy. Every mat is acid free and every job is perfect from design to completion. We take mat colors and moulding and make a work of art the best it can be. Next time you have something to be framed make sure you support your local framer and don't be taken by 50% Off there is not that much profit in a frame job. Jan 7, 2011
